AC Forum Webinar: Can we increase the maximum interval of INR monitoring from 4 to 12 weeks in stable patients? The AC Forum is holding a Lunch and Learn Webinar on Wednesday, July 11 at 12:00 EST. The AC Forum is pleased to welcome Dr. Sam Schulman, lead author of the published article "Warfarin Dose Assessment Every 4 Weeks Versus Every 12 Weeks in Patients With Stable International Normalized Ratios: A Randomized Trial" (Ann Intern Med. 15 November 2011;155(10):653-659). Dr. Schulman and his collegues investigated whether warfarin dose assessment every 12 weeks is as safe as assessment every four weeks in patients receiving long-term warfarin therapy. Dr. Scott Kaatz will review the paper and then Dr. Schulman will discuss his finding as well as the next research study he is conducting on this topic. Dr. Kaatz, Dr. Schulman, and Janet Delaney, ARNP will then participate in a Q&A session with the audience. Space is limited.
